Marine Rescue NSW Operational ExecutiveCommissioner Stacey Tannos ESM
Deputy Commissioner Storey was appointed in July 2013, bringing with him over 12 years management experience in the lifesaving/lifeguard industry in both Australia and New Zealand.He most recently served 4 years as the State Lifesaving Manager for Surf Life Saving NSW, where he led the enhancement of service standards, emergency response systems and a state-wide radio communications upgrade. His experience in strategic and operational planning, risk management, and government relations, is complemented by 20 years of frontline service as a volunteer surf life saver and lifeguard. Deputy Commissioner Storey has a keen focus on developing systems and processes to strengthen capabilities and professionalism and enhance the volunteering experience.
Regional Operations Managers A Regional Operations Manager has been appointed for each of the six Marine Rescue NSW operating regions. These officers assist Unit executives and volunteers with the administrative, training and operational workload involved in providing our services on the water. They are: Northern Rivers – John Murray Mid North Coast – Randall Gawne Hunter/Central Coast – Stephen Raymond Greater Sydney – Glenn Evans Illawarra – Bruce Mitchell Monaro – Glenn Sullivan
